After graduating with a MS in EE from Arizona State University in 1990, Ramana joined Intel Corporation where he spent almost 10 years at various locations such as Phoenix, Haifa (Israel) and Santa Clara, leading design teams on some of the most successful micro-processors in the company’s history such as the Pentium MMX
In 2000 he founded eDaycare.com an ASP for the childcare vertical for which he raised $3M venture financing from Sand Hill Road. Ramana built eDaycare into the 3rd largest player in the category and subsequently SOLD it to Arrowsight Inc. of NY in 2001. During this period Ramana was extensively covered by the media as an industry expert-Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, Business 2.0, CNBC, ABC News, ZDNet. Etc.
In 2001 Ramana established Knoah Solutions a call center company with operations in Hyderabad, India and grew this to over 800 agents serving enterprises such as EarthLink Corporation & HP before selling his stake to Knoah in 2004.
In 2005 Ramana established, PreciStat Data Services Inc. (USA) and PreciStat IT Sol. Pvt. Ltd. (India). A provider of business management, data analytics and data processing services to global leaders in food processing, manufacturing, fast food, healthcare, education and e-commerce.
Ramana has an MBA from University of Phoenix and an BS in EE from AU.
